Product description

La Grande Prêtresse is the distillery's very first gin, created in collaboration with Daniel Haesinger, an Alsatian distiller and arborist. Distilled in the fall, this gin is inspired by seasonal fruits and flowers such as mirabelle plums and hyssop, which form the main aromatic framework around juniper berries.

Behind the label

The gin label, entitled “La Grande Prêtresse” (The High Priestess), is illustrated by Léa Augereau, a painter with a colorful and committed style. Léa chose the second major arcana of the Marseille tarot deck, known as the Papesse or the High Priestess.

The Grande Prêtresse is a female figure seated between two pillars symbolizing duality. She is usually depicted holding a manuscript, a symbol of knowledge and wisdom. This allegorical figure invites us to learn, but also to follow our intuition in order to decipher signs. She is associated with the idea of mystery and secrecy that must be sought out or revealed.
