GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. Scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to the exclusion of all other Conditions, between La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec, a company domiciled at 52 rue de l'Arbre Sec — 75001 Paris, and any Customer purchasing one of its products or services, directly or through a partner company.
2. Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
The fact that the Customer confirms his order implies full and complete acceptance of these General Conditions of Sale, which the Customer acknowledges having read prior to placing his order. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale may be modified at any time by La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec.
3. Booking and availability
The calendar on the website www.distilleriedelarbresec.com is available in real time. If a date or a time is not available on the site it is because this window is full. The distillery team is not authorized to offer visit slots other than those available on the website www.distilleriedelarbresec.com, except for a request for a private slot.
4. prix
Prices are per person unless otherwise stated. Prices are shown in euros at the current exchange rate. Quotes are subject to change without notice until a reservation has been confirmed.
5. Payment
Prices are indicated in euros including all taxes. The price of the products and services ordered is payable in full to La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec, as soon as the order is placed on the site, according to one of the following methods of payment:
— by Visa bank card (secure online payment)
— by Mastercard bank card (secure online payment) For online payments, on the Customer's credit card statement, it may be indicated as coming from the company La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec or from the sister company Les Caves du Louvre, which uses the same reservation system. Also on site, the following payment methods are available:
— Visa card
— Mastercard card
— American Express card
— Unionpay card
— Cash
La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec does not charge service fees for processing credit card payments.
6. Booking confirmation
A reservation confirmation is sent by email automatically and includes a printable voucher. An electronic format of the voucher or gift voucher is sufficient and there is no need to print these documents.
The Customer making the reservation will have accepted the General Conditions of Sale on behalf of the other Customers included in the said reservation. The contract will be governed by and subject to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. No modification of these General Conditions of Sale will have effect, unless it is made in writing and with the authorization of the La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec team.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your tasting or workshop.
If you arrive more than 20 minutes late you will not be able to access the tasting or the workshop. No refunds will be made.
7. Report/Cancellation/Refunds
Any request for delay or cancellation, at the initiative of the Customer, must be reported in writing to the address: contact@distilleriedelarbresec.com.
No requests will be processed by telephone. Our gift vouchers are non-refundable — regardless of the reason.
The La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec team will make every effort to respond to the request as quickly as possible, reserving the right to assess the feasibility of the delay, and will not be bound by any obligation of result. In the case of acceptance of the delay by La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec, it gives the right to a new reservation which becomes non-modifiable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, regardless of the reason.
Case of products for individuals:
• Any cancellation more than fourteen (14) days before the date of the tasting, at the initiative of the Customer, will be 100% refunded.
• Any cancellation between thirteen (13) days and four (4) days prior to the date will result in a 50% cancellation fee.
• Any cancellation 72 hours or less before: no refund.
• A one-time deferral is possible free of charge for more than seven (7) days. The new date will depend on the availability of La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec.
For any delay requested less than seven (7) days before the scheduled date, La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec reserves the right to apply a fee of €25 per person. If the deferral is accepted the same day by our team, a payment link will be sent to you; it will be valid for seven (7) days. After this period without payment, the reservation will be definitively canceled.
The same principle applies to requests for rescheduling made between six (6) days and twenty-four (24) hours before the date of the event: a payment link will be sent to you and will remain valid for fourteen (14) days. In the absence of payment within this period, the reservation will also be lost.
In the event of cancellation of an activity open to the public due to La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec, the Customer will be entitled to replacement by an equivalent service or, failing that, to a full refund, excluding any other compensation.
Case of private events, groups and privatizations:
• The options given do not guarantee the reservation.
• A deposit of at least 50% of the total amount of the service and the signature of the estimate are required to validate the date.
• Cancellation within +30 working days: full refund
• Cancellation between 30 and 7 working days: loss of the deposit
• Cancellation within 7 working days: loss of the deposit + payment of the balance within 3 working days
The balance is due no later than 7 working days before the event. The reports follow the same conditions. In case of government restrictions, a free deferral is possible.
8. Gift vouchers
Reserved for adults (18 years old). La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec gift vouchers are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase.
They are not exchangeable or refundable, even partially. No change or replacement in case of loss.
Any use requires a reservation on the La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec website, under the “gift voucher” section, at least 24 hours before the desired date, subject to availability. Once booked, the date is non-changeable, non-refundable.
9. Responsibility of LA DISTILLERIE DE L'ARBRE SEC
The members of the reservation acknowledge that La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec and its agents/suppliers are not responsible for injuries, losses, delays, conflicts, breakdowns or cases of force majeure. La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec reserves the right to cancel or modify any service, or to refuse a reservation, for any reason whatsoever
10. CONFIDENTIALITY AND DATA SECURITY
In accordance with the RGPD n° 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, La Distillerie de l'Arbre Sec processes and stores the data of its Customers with the highest level of security. Customers can exercise their rights (access, rectification, deletion, etc.) by writing to: contact@ladistilleriedelarbresec.com.
