MAKE YOUR OWN GIN
Experience something unique in our micro-distillery in the heart of Paris by signing up for one of our gin-making workshop. Our professional distillers will guide you during 2 and a half hours, and you will learn the secrets of distillation, how to choose the botanicals, the different styles of gin that exist and of course, you will get to taste some delicious homemade cocktails, whilst creating your own gin!

Experience something unique in our micro-distillery in the heart of Paris by signing up for one of our gin-making workshop.
Our professional distillers will guide you during 2 and a half hours, and you will learn the secrets of distillation, how to choose the botanicals, the different styles of gin that exist and of course, you will get to taste some delicious homemade cocktails, whilst creating your own gin! You will have the opportunity to fashion a unique recipe by choosing the different plants, herbs and spices yourself.
You will then distill this selection of botanicals yourself on a tiny copper pot still. And finally, you will be able to customize your own label and leave with your very own 70cl bottle of gin.
DISCOVER THE GIN AND SPIRITS WORLD

Everyone has already heard of gin before. Some brave souls have even tasted it! But very few people actually know its history or how it is actually made. During this workshop, we will explain all of these gin mysteries! Not only you will be able to taste different gins, but also learn on how this historic and special drink was born, and what are the rules to produce it.

MAKE YOUR OWN GIN

As you will soon find out during this workshop, gin recipes are numerous and varied. Which is why we offer you the chance to create your very own recipe, with botanicals you will select yourself, with our help of course.

​WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE WORKSHOP
​

Participants are welcome by one of the founders and distillers of the Distillerie de l’Arbre Sec for a visit

Then we will give a thorough explanation of the principles of distillation and the different styles and profiles of gin

Participants will then choose their own selection of botanicals, guided by our experts

Each person will get a distilling station with a tiny copper still to distill their own gin. While the distillation happens, it will be possible to taste a delicious homemade cocktail

The 70cl bottles of gin will be customized with a unique label and voilà ! Participants will leave with their own custom-made bottle of gin.

Solo experience : 1 person for 1 copper still 110€
(1 bottle of gin created by one person)
In the experience for one, each person has their own distilling station with a tiny copper still and creates their own bottle of gin.​

Duo experience : 2 persons for 1 copper still 165€â€‹
(1 bottle of gin created by two persons)
In the experience for two, two persons have to share the distilling station and copper still, they will have to collaborate to create one bottle of gin for two.
To select the duo experience, chose the date in the calendar, select 1 adult, and tick the option "Share your experience with a partner (duo) ». Then click on « online booking»
OPTIONS
Extra bottle : If you are doing a solo experience but you Wish to distill another bottle of gin, you can tick the box « extra bottle ». You Will be given a second copper still and you will leave with two customized bottles.
GIFT CERTIFICATE

Please note these gin making workshops are available as gift certificates. Meaning you can offer this unique experience as a present. The price is the same, you just need to tick the box « gift certificate » under the calendar, and a printable document will be generated automatically. This gift certificate will mention all the details about the experience and the process to book a date. There is no need to actually print the voucher, everything can be done online on our website in the menu « gift certificate », or by following this link : gift certificate. The gift certificate is valid for one year starting the date of the purchase.

If you are looking for a unique experience for your private event in Paris, our gin making workshop is for you. Our distillery has a room dedicated to this activity, with 18 tiny copper stills, to create customized gin bottles. Each participant will get the opportunity to select their own botanicals, create their own recipe and distill their own gin. Guided by one of our professional distillers, you will discover all the secrets of distillation, the history of gin and you will have the opportunity to try delicious homemade cocktails. At the end of the workshop, each person will be able to customize their own label. This activity is suitable for group events or team building exercises.
PRIVATE
TASTING
Whether you are a pro, a rookie, or just curious about spirits, our team will be happy to welcome you and your guests for a private tasting at the distillery. Among the themes we could offer, here are a few examples : tasting of French spirits, spirit and cheese pairings, craft whisky tasting etc… Sky is the limit!
